OCD

Resisting the Loop

Cognitive

Challenge Intrusive Thoughts

OCD creates intrusive thoughts that feel urgent, dangerous, or morally “wrong,” even when they’re not. We help you learn to notice these thoughts without treating them as facts, reduce mental rituals like reassurance-seeking or reviewing, and respond in a way that weakens OCD over time. The goal isn’t to eliminate every intrusive thought—it’s to change your relationship to them so they lose power.

ERP

Resist Compulsions

ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) is the gold-standard treatment for OCD. You’ll gradually face triggers in a planned, supported way while resisting compulsions (including mental rituals). Over time, your brain learns you can tolerate uncertainty and anxiety—and the urge to ritualize fades. We move at a realistic pace, with clear steps and measurable progress.

Behavioral Health

Set Yourself up for Success

OCD thrives on stress, fatigue, and rigid routines. We work on practical wellness habits that support recovery—sleep, stress regulation, and healthy structure—so your brain has more resilience when anxiety spikes. We’ll also build a plan for daily functioning (work, relationships, and self-care) that reduces OCD-driven avoidance and supports steady progress.

Mindfulness

Control your Attention

OCD pulls attention into “what if” loops and constant monitoring. Mindfulness helps you practice noticing thoughts and urges without getting hooked, and gently redirecting attention back to the present. These skills support ERP by strengthening your ability to sit with discomfort, tolerate uncertainty, and choose actions based on values—not fear.
